remember yesterday when i was a naive little freshman?
oi vey.
senioritis: I HAZ IT. REAL BAD.
their show last night was absolutely beautiful. they didn’t play as much old stuff as i’d hoped, but that’s to be expected. amy’s voice was just as gorgeous as it was 3 years ago, flawless. torq kept thanking the crowd and telling us how amazing we are. i love how appreciative they are of their fans, and somehow they’re always surprised that their shows are sold out. the stage and lights were amazing, complete with fog and bubble machines. so freaking stunning. and i got to share this wonderful night with my beautiful, coffee and cig lovin’ baby girl, jinsters.
Never has the phrase “sweating like a whore in church” been more true. It’s nasty in here. Blah blah blah power outage and two fire drills or something that results in the fact that there is NO air conditioning going on in here. NONE. To add to the excitement, there are about 80 karate kids practicing on main street. They’re banging their karate sticks on the ground and doing that karate hiiiyaa yell. Please just go outside, y’all. Also, brought the wrong homework to the desk. Yet another completely unproductive shift. Then some shit went down with the film processing chemicals and 4 out of my 6 large format negatives were ruined. Also, my lover man is up at the pub getting free dranks with his bros. And I’m sitting here diet coke-less and bored.
sometimes (most of the time) my degree feels like a joke.
i’m sorry i thought i was a senior in college about to get my bfa in photo…? so why are we discussing what shutter speed means?
